CCTV Reporter in tears over China Quake tragedy

I've been meaning to get a proper translation on this, but it's been hard. So if someone has a good one, please send it over to me.
This is a CCTV reporter pretty much explaining that his reason for covering all this news regarding the earthquake in Sichuan is because CCTV reporters love this land. CCTV and all stations all over China have been working hard and bearing all the sad and grisly news over this tradegy...

The reason he cries is that "we love this land and people on this land are always trying to help and support each other". Then he apologizes that because of the technical difficulties, the journalists in Sichuan can not transfer the video back to CCTV, so they could only broadcast the previous videos they collected. All of this is trying to make people less nervous about the situation in Sichuan.
